LIVWELL IN THE COMMUNITY
Organizations We Support
Livwell Collective is dedicated to improving people’s lives, and we believe that one of the most important ways we can do this is by investing in our community.
We are proud to support the following organizations:
In Swahili the word Imani means “faith”. Imani Orphan Care Foundation was founded in 2010 by Kim Lee. Imani is a registered Canadian Charity that is based in Abbotsford, BC. It provides orphaned and vulnerable children in Kenya, East Africa with the care and resources they need, including food, clean water, shelter, clothing, hygiene items, love, medical care and education.
Life Recovery House is a transitional living home for women. Their focus is to give women the skills, responsibility and ability to form ways to resist the temptations of chemical dependency. They provide encouragement for women throughout their journey of recovery, using a Christ-centred 12-step program, support groups and therapy.
Rotary is a worldwide organization. More than 1.2 million businesses, professional and community leaders are Rotary club members. These members provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards, and help create peace. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious and open to all cultures, races and creeds. Rotary’s main objective is service; in the community, in the workplace and throughout the world.
The Rotary Club of Abbotsford Sumas raises funds through a variety of community activities.
